Sweet & Sour Chicken Strips

Tender yet crispy chicken strips with Chinese favourite, sweet and sour sauce will bring a new zest to your cooking.

For the recipe Sweet & Sour Chicken Strips

For Chicken Strips:

1 box Dr. Oetker Nona Fried Chicken Flour Original
1 Egg
2 Chicken Breasts

For Sweet & Sour Sauce:

1 tsp Dr. Oetker Nona Corn Starch (combine with 5 tbsp Water)
3 tbsp Tomato Sauce
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
Sesame Seeds




Cut the chicken breasts into strips. Coat the chicken strips with egg, set aside for 15minutes.


Preheat cooking oil to 180˚C in a wok.


Then coat chicken strips with Dr. Oetker Nona Fried Chicken Flour Original and fry until golden brown.


For sweet and sour sauce, heat up cooking oil in a pan. Add tomato sauce, lemon juice, sugar, corn starch gravy and salt, stir well. Sauce is ready when the gravy thickens.


Coat fried chicken strips with the sauce.
