Korean Fried Chicken

Korean fried chicken recipe that yields crispy fried chicken in spicy, savory and sweet Gochujang sauce. So delicious!

For the recipe Korean Fried Chicken

For Chicken:

1 box Dr. Oetker Nona Fried Chicken Flour Original
1 Egg
8 pcs Chicken Drummettes
White Sesame Seeds

For Sweet Sauce:

1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
85 g Honey
2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
1 tbsp Ginger (Grated)




Clean and drain excess water of chicken breast. Cut the chicken breast into cubes. 


Preheat cooking oil to 180°C in a wok.


Coat chicken cubes with Dr. Oetker Nona Fried Chicken Flour and fry until golden brown.


Mix sauce ingredients in bowl and set aside.


Heat oil in a wok, stir in sauce, and bring to boil.


Coat fried chicken cubes with the flaming sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
