Crunchy Oatmeal Calamari

Deep fry Calamari is a lot easier to make at home than you might think!

For the recipe Crunchy Oatmeal Calamari

For Calamari:

150 g Dr. Oetker Quick Cook Oats
1 box Dr. Oetker Nona Kentucky Flour Original
1 Egg (beaten)
300 g Calamari / Squid (cut into rings)




Clean and drain excess water of calamari/ squid.


Preheat cooking oil to 180°C in a wok.


Blend the Dr. Oetker Quick Cook Oats until it turns to crumbs.


Coat the calamari in this order: Kentucky flour first, egg second, then oats.


Fry at medium heat for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
