Carrot Cake



Preheat oven to 180°C.


Cream 200g sugar & 2 eggs at high speed for 2 minutes, or until the batter is light & fluffy. Stir in 130ml cooking oil until well combined.


Fold in 150g Dr. Oetker Nona Self-raising Flour, 100g chopped walnuts, 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder &1/2 tsp salt and mix well. Add 250g grated carrots (drained), stir until just combined.


Pour the batter in greased baking pan and bake for 50-55 minutes.


Topping Cream

250g cream cheese, 130g unsalted butter and 130g icing sugar(sieved) at high speed for 2 minutes, or until mixture well combined. Spread mixture on top of the cake.
