Rice Flour

Creamy in colour and neutral in flavour Dr. Oetker Nona Rice Flour is embraced by many sweet and savoury dishes. It makes great puddings, biscuits, noodles and can be used to thicken soups, sauces, stew and gravies. It also great ingredient for many Asian dishes.

Rainbow Steamed Rice Cake


Place 250g Dr. Oetker Nona Rice Flour, 250g plain flour and 8g instant yeast in a large bowl, mix well.


Blend 320g cooked rice and water. Add in 175g brown sugar and 170g coarse sugar, blend well.


Pour rice mixture into the flour mix. Mix well and rest for 2 hours.


Divide mixture into 4 bowls. Add different colour to separate bowls, mix well.


Bring 600ml water to boil and wrap the cover with a clean cloth. Fill with rice cake mixture and steam with high heat for 20 minutes.
